We use the very best lid support available; the lid support ensures your toddler’s safety by holding its position at any angle.
Your toddler’s safety is further assured with cutout handles and a front finger cutout.
Carved personalization is available as a finishing touch.
Ships unassembled, with the exception of the lid, which is fully constructed.

CARB 2 compliant birch plywood construction throughout.
All finishes are water-based paints and stains so that our furniture is non-toxic and safe for children. There may be an odor when first unpacked but will dissipate more rapidly with warmer temperatures and air movement.

Is it possible to get the regular toy storage box with the dome lid from the captains chest?
Yes, we could do this for an additional $25.00.
How much does the box weigh?
If ordered in Natural, Honey Oak, Espresso or Unfinished it is about 30 lbs. If ordered in a Solid Color, it is about 41 lbs.
I’m wanting to get the toy storage in Expresso. Is it SOLID wood? I do not want any MDF. Thank you
It is all made of Pine except for the bottom panel which is made with Birch.

If it is ordered in Unfinished it is made of Pine and the bottom panel is made of Birch.
What is the bottom made of?
The bottom panel is made of Baltic Birch.
The pieces we received do not fit and some are broken. How do we get replacements? Thanks!

Can the letters be painted any color? I thinking about ordering a toy box with Honey Oak stain and the letters stained Espresso.
Unfortunately, our finishing department is not set up to do that. This would have to be added on your end.
